Our style is Tang Soo Do which is a traditional Korean martial art. Our federation is headed by Grand Master Robert Cheezic, 10th Dan Black Belt.

Senior Instructor:

Adam L. Gorski - 4th Dan Black Belt. Master Gorski has started his Karate career in January of 1991 when he was a student at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) in New Britain, Connecticut, US. He received his 1st degree black belt from Grand Master Cheezic in June of 1995. In 2000 he started teaching at The Hamden/North Haven YMCA where he became senior instructor that year. In March 2004, Master Gorski opened his second Karate Club at the YWCA in New Britain, CT to promote Tang Soo Do Karate among children, teenagers, and adults in New Britain, CT community. In November 2004 Master Gorski helped Stowarzyszenie Tang Soo Do Polska (currently 10 dojangs) in Poland and one dojang in Ireland, Europe join Cheezic Tang Soo Do Federation. Currently Master Gorski holds 4th Dan in Tang Soo Do.

Master Gorski has been actively involved in Karate not only teaching, coaching, and practicing himself, but also competing several times per year. He competes in forms, sparring, weapons (Nunchakus, Bo Staff, Sei, Kamas, Sword), and breaking divisions. Over the years he has won a number of trophies and medals.

In February 2005 Master Gorski received the Year 2004 Top Competitor title that is awarded to only those who place first in all disciplines (sparring, forms, weapons, and breaking). In private life, Master Gorski is a Global Vice President of Informatin Technology for a major corporation.
